Southern Korean girl group 2NE1 made digital, dance-oriented pop music with much R&B and hip-hop influence. Shaped by YG Entertainment in ’09 2009, 2NE1 presented vocalists CL (Lee Chae-rin), Minzy (Gong Minji), Dara (Sandara Recreation area), and Bom (Recreation area Bom). In March of 2009, 2NE1 released their debut solitary, the Teddy Park-produced “Lollipop,” which made an appearance together with an LG telephone advertising. “Lollipop” fared well and was accompanied by the band’s 2009 self-titled debut EP, including the singles “Open fire” and “I Don’t Treatment.” This year 2010, 2NE1 released their debut full-length recording, the Park-produced To Anyone, which topped the recording graphs in South Korea and reached quantity seven within the Billboard Globe Albums graph.
