Despite the fact that this SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA centered neo-psych band garnered plaudits and acclaim, 28th Day would ultimately become more popular to be the first band to contact Barbara Manning an associate. Manning, who later find achievement as an associate of the Globe of Pooh and S.F. Seals, aswell as learning to be a type of indie/underground tale, performed bass in 28th Day time alongside Cole Marquis on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Mike Cloward on drums. Although Manning would develop into a push like a songwriter in following projects, nearly all 28th Day’s function was compiled by Marquis. Their debut EP, released on Enigma in 1985, will be the just studio work through the band, that was to break up a short while later on. That collection will be extended in 1992, and once again in 2004, to very much acclaim on each event. Manning would continue to many additional projects, like the above mentioned Globe of Pooh, S.F. Seals, as well as the Go-Luckys!, while Marquis would continue to create the Downsiders.
