259’s music continues to be referred to as alternative a cappella; nevertheless, the group will shed the a cappella label given that they incorporate acoustic guitars and various other instruments to their music. Originally, seven senior high school elderly people from Mesa, AZ, produced the group in Oct 1994: Porter Shumway, Greg Adams, Rob Gardner, Jeff Andersen, Jackson Wright, McKane Davis, and Jeff Trapnell.
