Rockabilly band 13 Felines attracts its membership from many earlier groups, like the Stray Felines. Its lineup features guitarist Danny B. Harvey, who previously spent amount of time in both Levi Dexter’s Ripchords as well as the Rockats, a music group that also was associated with Dexter; vocalist Tim Polecat, who previously led the Polecats and in addition continued to record single; drummer Slim Jim Phantom, a founding person in the Stray Felines; and stand-up bass participant Jonny Bowler, in the Guana Batz. Bowler changed Smutty Smith, who was simply among the Havalinas and, like Harvey, also was area of the Rockats. The 13 Felines received some publicity in the film The Trend/Carrie2. The film featured a set of the band’s music, “13 Felines” and “Teddy Boy Kung Fu Weapon.” Furthermore, guitarist Harvey penned the movie’s rating. Before the discharge of Initially, the band’s 2002 debut, Dionysus included the group’s “Hell Bopp” over the label’s Tigermask Garbage Au Go-Go compilation.
