101 Ranch Boys

Cliff Dark brown (b. 29 Apr 1916, Argentine, Kansas, USA; fiddle/vocals), George Lengthy (b. 8 Might 1921, Kansas Town, Kansas, USA), Andy Reynolds (b. 14 Apr 1914, on ranch in American Kansas but elevated in Kansas Town, USA, d. 29 November 1975; electric guitar/vocals), Smokey Roberts (b. William L. Roberts, 27 November 1925, Pitcher, Oklahoma, USA; electric guitar/vocals) and Leonard Zinn (b. 27 Dec 1924, Hanover, Pa, USA; electric metal electric guitar). While functioning as a vehicle driver, Reynolds chosen a musical profession and initial performed single until he fulfilled Dark brown. A Cherokee Indian, Dark brown initial sang and performed on WLBF Kansas Town so that as the fiddler for regional dances ahead of meeting Reynolds. For the recommendation of Dark brown’s mom (who was simply born for the 101 Ranch, Oklahoma), they followed the name and begun to play for square dances and on regional radio. A couple of years later these were became a member of by Roberts and Longer and commenced their main profession at WSBA York, Pa. Zinn, who for a few years taught acoustic guitar, used the Hawaiian Sharps before becoming a member of the 101 Ranch Males in 1948. He also acted as the group’s comedian and on pension opened up a music shop in Chambersburg, Pa. Wayne Chipley (fiddle) also documented using the group but no biographical info is obtainable. The 101 Ranch Males, under Very long’s management, re-formed after Globe Battle II and continued to be energetic until around 1955. During this time period they documented for Security, High and Columbia Information.
