1,000 Sticks

Following the demise of former Calgary favorites Fire Engine Red comes 1,000 Sticks, who sound just as very much alternative rock and roll in the vein from the Replacements or Hüsker Dü since it does alongside Steve Earle or Wilco. In 1998, the group, which highlighted various people of various other Calgary rock groupings, started rehearsing and executing around the town. In 1998, the music group released a demonstration Compact disc, which received airplay not merely in Calgary but nationally aswell. The group dropped drummer Edward Tiegs, but he was changed by Chris Lowry. The music group also added keyboardist Lorrie Matheson to get a fuller, well-rounded audio. In 2002, the group released Light Knuckled Midnight Motorists, their debut work. The group proceeds to perform across the Western world Coastline of Canada and their hometown, aswell.
